Maggie jumps for joy against a corrugated metal background.
Meet Maggie

I never expected to start an award-winning non-profit or become a social entrepreneur. But nine years after my “one-year” leave of absence from teaching English Language Arts to marginalized high schoolers, that was exactly where I found myself.

It began as a suspicion that our students could be more successful with access to basic culinary skills. By following that curiosity, I not only unearthed the scientific evidence to prove it — I began developing programs and curriculum that would go on to serve thousands of kids.

In 2019, I stepped away from my unplanned solo-preneur role to help other vision-holders build systems, plan projects, and run businesses using the get-it-done skills I’ve learned along the way.

By weaving strategy between public systems and private business, we create responsive solutions and meaningful change.

“Are you in a stupor and don’t know where to begin? Ask Maggie. She rallies internal encouragement, keeps the ball rolling when momentum is slowing, and celebrates the discovery process by helping people find out what they need to do rather than telling them. She is a coach, a cheerleader and an expert at reading people.”
